Healthy fats and carbohydrates: These food groups are essential structural components of healthy lifestyles and are great sources of energy needed by our bodies. These food groups include simple sugars, gums, cellulose and starches.

Fiber: This type of food group helps with balance and regularity in the body’s system. Consuming fiber helps control your calorie intake, which leads to promoting weight loss. The blood sugar of diabetics is also controlled with the help of roughage; Healthy fiber may also help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and some certain types of cancer.

Meat, Fish and Chicken: This food group is a high-quality source of protein and extremely rich in fatty acids. Proteins are essential for your body to grow and develop. It also helps in the maintenance and repair of our body tissues.
