You exercise and afterwards you get cravings for food, but you can only eat selected things. Here are a few foods to eat while on a diet that will fill you up and quell your cravings.

whole eggs – Eggs are very filling without a lot of eating, are high in protein and nutrients, and contain healthy fats. It also helps in muscle building. Hunger can be satisfied by whole eggs and it also does not add weight. Having eggs for breakfast eliminates the need for a pre-lunch snack. There is a myth about eggs that they increase the number of calories, but it is not true. On the contrary, whole eggs burn more calories and reduce cravings. You can consume up to 2 eggs per day while on a diet.

apples – “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. Plus, apples have the potential to keep fat off too. While apples do have calories, they are also packed with water and fiber, which help make you feel full and are also efficient at reducing hunger pangs. The amount of pectin is high in apples, which combined with water, prevents your cells from absorbing just a certain level of fat. Many doctors suggest that you include apples in your diet if you are in the process of losing weight. If you consume apple an hour or so before eating, you will find that you limit our intake.

avocado – Avocado is a jack of all trades. You can always have them with anything, be it a salad or a main course. They are rich in nutrients and healthy fats. They also help reduce fats, improve eyesight, and benefit your heart. It also has the ability to reduce food cravings. Research has found that avocado lowers cholesterol and reduces belly fat. It is the perfect food during weight loss. You should eat an average of 1 avocado per day. Avocado contains vitamin K, vitamin E, potassium, folic acid, vitamin C, copper, magnesium and antioxidants.

bananas – Bananas are home to potassium and starches that aid in weight loss. Consuming bananas after your workout session will meet all of your nutritional needs at that time. Aside from the nutritional benefits, bananas can solve your digestive problems. They keep your blood pressure up and eliminate the risk of it shooting up or down. And studies have shown that it also prevents strokes in women over 30.

Brown rice – Resistant brown rice starch, a healthy carbohydrate that burns body fat. Brown rice also takes care of your heart health. It is low in calories and fills you up once you eat it. It is also considered to be much healthier than white rice as it brings more benefits to your body than white rice.
